Gasthaus zum Lugauer situated in the heart of Steiermark can be found at the foot of the mountains in the village of Radmer an der Hasel. Originally run as a village Inn by the Stangl family, it has now been taken over by Peter & Debbie who are offering a tranquil Bed & Breakfast service. The house is made up of 4 x double rooms and 1 x twin room, each with en-suite and their own unique view of the surrounding mountains (please note rooms cannot accommodate extra beds). On arrival, you'll be greeted by Debbie and Pete, who will show you to your room where you will find tea and coffee making facilities along side complimentary soft drinks and a chocolate treat. As a Gasthof we are offering a select menu ranging from snacks, main meals and sharing platters. A variety of drinks can be purchased in the cosy bar area, including soft drinks, teas, coffees, local beers and wine, and schnapps. Bikers welcome.
During the Spring and Summer season, there are numerous mountain hikes, including the famous Lugauer, for all different abilities right on the doorstep. Why not stop at one of the many almhütte for a drink or snack. However, a 15-minute car journey will take you to the beautiful Leopoldsteinersee where you can relax and unwind, soaking up the sun by the lake or take off into the mountains to explore the various walks. During the winter months, Gasthaus zum Lugauer is ideally located for the more adventurous with two ski resorts close by, Prabichl Ski and Hochkar Ski. For the more extreme adventurers, why not try out our local mountains, virtually snow sure. Here numerous hiking, mountaineering, snowshoeing, skiing and snowboarding trails are on offer. As well as plentiful sledging for the children and young at heart.
